On December 9th, the Minquan Bonded Logistics Center was busy. Forklifts shuttle between warehouses and trucks, and staff nervously count the goods. Boxes of durians from Thailand and refrigeration equipment made by "Minquan" are distributed here. Container trucks loaded with refrigerators and freezers drove out of the Minquan Bonded Logistics Center and traveled to the world through the "Minquan Qingdao Port" sea rail intermodal train.
Statistics show that in the first 10 months of this year, the Minquan Bonded Logistics Center completed a total import and export trade volume of 1.493 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 74.1%. Among them, the export data is particularly prominent, with an export value of 1.474 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 85.6%.
Among the bonded logistics centers in Henan Province, Minquan Bonded Logistics Center ranks second in import and export volume, only behind Shangqiu Bonded Logistics Center. Among them, the export volume ranks first in the province.
The rapid development of Minquan Bonded Logistics Center is closely related to its solid industrial foundation. Minquan County is known as the "Chinese Cold Valley" nationwide, with 1 out of every 10 refrigerators and freezers produced here, and 6 out of every 10 refrigerated and insulated trucks driven by Minquan. Nowadays, the Minquan High tech Zone has gathered 57 refrigeration equipment enterprises and 84 accessory enterprises, with more than 160 components locally matched, forming a "3-kilometer industrial ecosystem".
In the first 10 months of this year, refrigeration products accounted for 61.8% of the county's bonded exports in the export products of Minquan Bonded Logistics Center. Now our products have significantly shortened the time from production to entering the African market, and the export cost has also decreased by 5% compared to before, competing with coastal enterprises on the same frequency, "said Jiang Xiaoyun, General Manager of Kangbain Electric.
The "Minquan Qingdao Port" sea rail intermodal line has opened up the "main artery" of cross-border logistics and also opened the door for enterprises to accelerate their occupation of overseas markets. In the first 10 months, sea rail intermodal transportation shipped a total of 4471 containers. Previously, logistics transportation has always been a major challenge for our company's operations. The opening of sea rail intermodal trains not only helped our local enterprises reduce logistics costs and improve transportation efficiency, but more importantly, opened up an important channel to the international market, "said Yang Guoquan, Chairman of Xiangxuehai Electric Appliance Group Co., Ltd.
While stabilizing traditional business, Minquan Bonded Logistics Center continues to expand new businesses. On June 18th of this year, the Minquan Bonded Logistics Center welcomed its first container of Thai durian, opening a new consumption model of importing fruits directly from their place of origin and supplying them directly to terminal stores. Consumers can easily enjoy global goods without leaving the country.
To support the high-quality development of foreign trade in Minquan County, Zhengzhou Customs has specially issued nine measures. These measures include promoting the construction of open platforms to the outside world, assisting in the upgrading of the refrigeration equipment industry, promoting the development of processing trade, and supporting the export of agricultural and food products. In terms of improving the convenience level of customs clearance, Zhengzhou Customs promotes the optimization of customs clearance processes through the construction of smart customs, and promotes the application of projects such as "Technology and Trade Pass", "Smart Enjoyment", and "Smart Selection Menu for Customs Clearance Mode". The intelligent checkpoint with customs personnel on duty 24/7 achieves "second level customs clearance".
At the end of the year, the sprint towards the annual goal has entered a critical period.
