64 sets of "zero-tariff" self-use production equipment quickly cleared customs

On the disassembly site of Huaneng Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Co., Ltd., workers were carefully unpacking the metal packing boxes that had just been unloaded, verifying the identification and equipment integrity of 56 sets of "core neutron detector components" and 8 sets of "core liquid level detector components". On December 11th, with the smooth placement of the last component, this batch of "zero-tariff" self-use production equipment, worth over 23 million yuan, successfully completed the entire process from arrival to customs clearance under the efficient supervision of the Eighth Customs Office under Haikou Customs, and entered the factory for disassembly and commissioning.
"We have been worried about whether the long customs clearance time would affect the installation of components. The customs sent specially-assigned personnel to explain the policies to us, allowing us to obtain the necessary licenses and qualifications in advance, ensuring the rapid inspection and release of equipment," said the person in charge of customs affairs at Huaneng Hainan Changjiang Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. According to the construction progress of the base, the company plans to import another batch of components and actively contribute to the high-quality development of Hainan's nuclear power industry.
During the supervision process, the eight customs offices proactively informed enterprises about the scope of application and regulatory requirements for "zero-tariff" self-use production equipment, ensuring that enterprises can fully enjoy the policy benefits as long as they meet the requirements.
