Hangzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone (Airport Area) Passes Acceptance Inspection

On the morning of December 23rd, the Hangzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone (Airport Area) passed the acceptance inspection, marking that this newly opened highland with a planned area of 0.4 square kilometers in Hangzhou has the conditions for closed operation.

The Hangzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone (Airport Area) is an expansion project of the Hangzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone approved by the State Council in September 2025. The area extends east to Bonded Avenue, south to Yinan Henghe, west to Xiaoshan Airport East International Cargo Station, and north to the south side of the Red 15th Line, seamlessly connecting with the airport port and possessing the natural advantage of "district port integration".

Throughout the entire process of planning, application for construction, and acceptance of the area, Hangzhou Customs strengthens its functional guidance, and its affiliated Qianjiang Customs collaborates with Hangzhou Xiaoshan Airport Customs to ensure high standard planning, high-quality construction, and efficient promotion of the area. It deeply participates in the city level special task force and provides professional support in scheme design, functional layout, information construction, and other aspects; Adhering to the requirements of the regulations for the establishment of comprehensive security zones, we will assist in planning, build a three-dimensional management system of "civil defense+physical defense+technical defense", promote the construction of "smart customs", and increase the intelligent and intensive application of regulatory facilities; Deeply explore the "district port linkage" regulatory model, optimize checkpoint verification logic, establish dedicated channels, improve inter district port logistics efficiency, and reduce enterprise short haul costs.

The completion and operation of the Hangzhou Comprehensive Bonded Zone (Airport Area) will embed an open engine into the Hangzhou Area of the Zhejiang Pilot Free Trade Zone and the Hangzhou Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, significantly upgrading the industrial adsorption and resource allocation capabilities of Hangzhou Airport, and promoting its transformation from a traditional "channel economy" to a "hub economy". Relying on the policy dividends of "bonded, tax refund, and tax exemption" in the comprehensive bonded zone, the airport area will focus on developing high value-added digital trade and service trade such as bonded research and development, testing, maintenance, cross-border e-commerce, and aviation material supply chain, forming a synergistic and complementary effect with the advantageous industries of surrounding biopharmaceuticals, aviation services, exhibition and commerce in the airport area.
