Fuzhou's offshore fishing boats welcome the winter season of concentrated return to port

On December 21st, the "Fuyuanyu 8635" ocean going fishing vessel, loaded with nearly 400 tons of North Pacific fish, docked smoothly at Mawei Port in Fuzhou. After passing the inspection by Mawei Customs officers under Fuzhou Customs, it began to enter the centralized unloading area, ushering in the winter return season for ocean going fishing vessels at the port.

At the port site, the unloading machine made a "rumbling" sound of operation, and high-quality fish were quickly and orderly transferred from the deck of the fishing boat to the refrigerated truck, and quickly sent to the production line of Honglong Marine Industry Park where the enterprise is located.

There are two concentrated return seasons for ocean going fishing boats every year, and the end of December is our second peak period. A large amount of fish need to be quickly landed and processed to meet the consumption peak brought by traditional holidays. Customs has advanced high-quality customs clearance docking, allowing us to achieve seamless zero waiting clearance in the process of arrival, inspection, unloading, and transportation, shortening the waiting time for fish to be stored in the warehouse, "said the person in charge of Fuzhou Honglong Marine Fisheries Co., Ltd.

Fuzhou Mawei Port is one of the largest distribution centers of oceangoing fisheries in China. To meet the special requirements of seasonal centralized return of oceangoing fishing vessels in winter, Mawei Customs actively provides forward services for centralized research, understands the marine dynamics of fishing vessels and the arrival time plan, makes arrangements for vessels to dock, board for quarantine and other work in advance, provides "one-stop" operation guidance, links the wharf, cold storage and logistics resources, dynamically allocates inspection forces during peak hours of fishing vessel arrival, and ensures seamless connection of unloading, inspection and release at the wharf. At the same time, we will promote the paperless tax reduction and exemption model for offshore fishing, shorten the review time through remote tutoring for enterprises, achieve paperless processing throughout the entire process, accelerate the flow of enterprise funds, reduce costs and increase efficiency for enterprises, and further support the expansion of imports of offshore fishing catch. From January to November, Fuzhou Customs supervised the import of 359000 tons of offshore fishing, a year-on-year increase of 14.3%. (Shi Tengli/Text)
