The Ministry of Commerce organized the seventh meeting of the China Portugal Forum Follow up Action Committee

On December 19th, Yuan Xiaoming, Assistant Minister of Commerce, presided over the seventh meeting of the Follow up Action Committee of the China Portugal Forum to study and promote the implementation of the results of the sixth ministerial meeting of the China Portugal Forum. Representatives from the Macao Special Administrative Region Government and member units of the China Portugal Forum Follow up Action Committee attended the meeting.

The meeting pointed out that over the past year, various departments have solidly promoted the implementation of the results of the 6th Ministerial Conference of the Forum between China and Portugal, achieved positive results, further deepened the all-round mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Portuguese speaking countries, and consolidated and enhanced the functions of the Macao China Portugal platform. Promoting the high-level construction of the China Portugal Forum is of great significance for serving the overall diplomatic situation of the country and the successful practice of "One Country, Two Systems" with Macao characteristics. All departments should increase their efforts to promote the high-quality implementation and effectiveness of the results of the 6th Ministerial Conference of the China Portugal Forum, and promote all-round mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Portuguese speaking countries to a new level.
