Rongcheng Customs helps Fujian wind power equipment sail out to sea

On December 19th, at the Jiangyin Port Terminal of Fuzhou Port, eight 107 meter long ultra long wind turbine blades manufactured by Elm Wind Energy Blade Products (Fujian) Co., Ltd. were lifted one by one onto the "Chuanwei Yuanjian" ship and will soon depart for the UK.

In recent years, Fuzhou has continuously promoted the development of offshore wind power industry by relying on the Fujian Three Gorges Offshore Wind Power International Industrial Park, forming a complete industrial ecology covering wind blade research and development production, core component manufacturing, and complete machine assembly. The Jiangyin Port Area of Fuzhou Port has simultaneously launched a wind energy distribution center, which has built a one-stop service platform for the entire wind power industry chain products covering towers, blades, main engines, and related accessories. It has become an important sector for "Made in China" green wind power energy equipment to go global.

Wind turbine blades are critical components with precise processing techniques, complex loading processes, and high operational difficulties. Thanks to customs support, we are able to efficiently clear customs and ensure that logistics delivery is not delayed, "said Ren Lihua, the procurement and logistics supervisor of Elm Wind Energy Blade Products (Fujian) Co., Ltd.

In order to ensure the smooth export of this batch of wind turbine blades, Rongcheng Customs under Fuzhou Customs has implemented a policy of direct loading upon arrival to reduce the transportation time of oversized goods and achieve the direct transportation of wind blades from the factory to the port for export without landing. At the same time, policies such as bonded logistics and bonded processing are applied to key components such as carbon fiber pull sheets and guide belts to maximize the efficiency of enterprise capital turnover.

With the increasingly significant synergy effect of the wind power industry, the export trend of wind power equipment continues to improve. Customs will continuously optimize the port business environment and inject strong momentum into the export of new energy products, "said Guo Qianlin, Deputy Director of the Logistics Monitoring Department of Rongcheng Customs Office in Fuqing.

According to statistics from Rongcheng Customs, Fuzhou Port Jiangyin Port Area has exported a total of 17 batches of wind turbine blades this year, with a value of 658 million yuan, an increase of 88.9% and 82.3% year-on-year, respectively. (Zhang Yuhan, Xia Zhijin)
