In the early morning, the production workshop of Guangdong Wen Shi Jia Run Food Co., Ltd. was already bustling with activity. Workers orderly sent the quarantined and qualified live chickens onto the processing line, and after undergoing processes such as electric anesthesia, slaughter, cleaning, cooling, and packaging, a batch of over 5 tons of frozen fresh chickens were transported to the Macau market via cold chain transportation under the supervision of Luoding Customs officers under Guangzhou Customs.
In order to provide fresh and safe frozen poultry meat for our compatriots in Macau, the Luoding Customs has made precise efforts to strengthen the supervision and control of registered farms supplying to Hong Kong and Macau, and to safeguard food safety from the production end. On the one hand, guide enterprises in the jurisdiction to optimize their quality management system, establish and improve a full process product quality traceability mechanism, implement regular supervision and sampling of exported animal derived food safety and risk monitoring plans, and comprehensively investigate food safety risks and hidden dangers. On the other hand, in response to the strong timeliness of frozen poultry meat products, a dedicated person will be arranged to coordinate the export of poultry meat, providing convenient measures such as "centralized declaration, priority inspection, and priority release" to ensure that frozen poultry meat can pass through customs at a "bay area speed" and compete for "freshness". In the first 11 months of this year, Luoding Customs inspected and supervised over 27 million yuan worth of frozen poultry meat supplied to Macau.
In addition to chilled poultry meat, delicious pastries are also deeply loved by Macau residents. On December 16th, under the supervision of Nansha Customs officers under Guangzhou Customs, a batch of Portuguese egg tarts, donuts and other pastries worth 141000 yuan from Guangzhou Aokun Food Co., Ltd. were transported by a special car to the Macau market for sale.
Since the beginning of this year, we have been focusing on expanding the Macau market, and the recognition of our pastries by local consumers has been increasing, with a steady increase in order volume. "Wen Zihao, the manager of Guangzhou Aokun Food Co., Ltd., said that the" one-on-one "precise assistance from customs has made the company's exports smoother and more worry free.
In response to the food regulatory policies and regulations as well as consumer demand in Macau, Nansha Customs has sorted out relevant standard requirements, focused on the pain points and difficulties in the declaration process of export food processing enterprises in the customs area, and established a normalized communication mechanism between customs and enterprises. In accordance with the requirements of international quality management systems such as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), we closely monitor key aspects such as raw material procurement, production and processing, additive use, finished product inspection, storage and transportation, and urge enterprises to fulfill their main responsibilities and improve their self inspection and self-control systems.
We rely on the 'remote local inspection' platform to carry out inspection operations through video verification, online guidance, and other methods, reducing the number of errands for enterprises and compressing inspection time. At the same time, we make full use of the 'green channel' for supplying agricultural and food products to Macau, optimize customs clearance processes, simplify procedures, and achieve 'instant reporting and inspection' for supplying pastries to Macau, ensuring 'zero delay' in customs clearance for agricultural and food products supplied to Macau, "said Liu Tao, Deputy Director of the Inspection Department of Nansha Customs.
According to statistics, in the first 11 months of this year, Guangzhou Customs inspected and supervised 18000 batches of agricultural and food products supplied to Macau, China, a year-on-year increase of 12.1%; The value of the goods was 330 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.8%.
