China National Gate Times: Monet's genuine "Water Lilies" will soon be unveiled at Ningbo Museum
Recently, a batch of precious art works from the Art Museum of Chicago in the United States were transferred from Suzhou to Ningbo Museum after completing the customs clearance procedures at Yinzhou Customs under Ningbo Customs. The batch of imported exhibits consists of more than 30 pieces, including Monet's authentic works "Sleeping Lotus Pond" and "Water Lilies". After completing the unpacking operation under the full supervision of Yinzhou Customs, they were exhibited at the Ningbo Museum. It is reported that the exhibition "Monet's Poetry: East West Aesthetic Dialogue from Chicago to Sanjiangkou" will open on December 5th.
As an annual heavyweight exhibition launched by the Ningbo Museum, this exhibition will showcase more than 60 pieces (groups) of exquisite collections from the Ningbo Museum and the Art Museum of Chicago in the United States, with the theme of "mutual learning between the East and the West", presenting Chinese ceramics, Buddha statues, calligraphy and painting, as well as European glassware, sculpture, printmaking and other art treasures.
This batch of exhibits from Chicago includes multiple original works by famous artists, with a large quantity, high value, and strict transportation and storage conditions. Therefore, we are very concerned about the tight exhibition schedule during the preparation stage, "said Chen Chao, Director of the Exhibition Department of Ningbo Museum. Ningbo Customs has tailored "on-site supervision+no guarantee" facilitation measures, and provided guidance on the entire process from exhibition declaration to on-site supervision, saving time and costs for exhibition setup.
