The 2025 Boao Forum for Entrepreneurs focuses on new opportunities during the 15th Five Year Plan period

On December 4th, the main forum of the 2025 Boao Forum for Entrepreneurs, with the theme of "Linking the World, Leading the Future: New Opportunities for the 15th Five Year Plan", was held in Boao Town, Qionghai City, Hainan Province.

  Standing at a new historical starting point, enterprises should deepen their efforts in the real economy, adhere to innovation driven, accelerate green transformation, carry forward the pioneering, open and innovative, indomitable entrepreneurial spirit, have the courage to integrate resources and expand markets in a broader space, and firmly become the builders of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the promoters of Chinese path to modernization. Feng Fei, Secretary of the Hainan Provincial Party Committee, stated in his speech that since 2016, Xinhua News Agency has partnered with Hainan to hold ten consecutive "Boao Forum for Entrepreneurs", providing a high-end platform for domestic and foreign entrepreneurs to collide ideas and deepen cooperation. The theme of this forum is "Linking the World, Leading the Future: New Opportunities in the 15th Five Year Plan", which is highly in line with the development direction of Hainan Free Trade Port. On December 18th of this year, Hainan Free Trade Port will officially launch the island wide customs operation, which is a landmark measure for China to firmly expand high-level opening-up and promote the construction of an open world economy.
