The US ITC has issued a Section 337 final ruling on integrated circuits, electronic devices containing such integrated circuits, and their components

On December 3, 2025, the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) issued a notice stating that it had made a final ruling in part 337 on a specific integrated circuit, electronic devices containing the Same, and components thereof (investigation code: 337-TA-1450): the preliminary ruling (No. 11) made by the administrative judge on September 25, 2025 in this case will not be reviewed, that is, based on the withdrawal of the applicant, the investigation of claims 5-8 and 19-20 of US registered patent number 8854381 in this case will be partially terminated.

On September 22, 2025, the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) issued a final ruling: the preliminary ruling (No. 9) made by the administrative judge on August 27, 2025 in this case will not be reviewed, that is, based on the withdrawal of the applicant, the investigation of claims 13 and 14 of US registered patent number 7717350, claims 10 and 13 of US registered patent number 9519943, and claims 15 and 21 of US registered patent number 9116809 in this case will be partially terminated.

On May 20, 2025, the United States International Trade Commission (ITC) voted to initiate a 337 investigation (investigation code: 337-TA-1450) into certain integrated circuits, electronic devices containing the Same, and components thereof.

On April 18, 2025, Onesta IP, LLC of Wayne, Pennsylvania filed a 337 investigation application with the US ITC, claiming that the product exported, imported, and sold in the United States violated US Section 337 (infringing US registered patents 8854381, 9519943, 7717350, 11741019, 11841803, 9116809), and requested the US ITC to issue a limited exclusion order or injunction.
