Rizhao Port exports domestically produced fully revolving tugboats for the first time

On November 28th, two fully revolving tugboats built by Rizhao Port Da Shipbuilding Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. successfully departed from Rizhao Port in Shandong Province, marking the first time that Rizhao Port has achieved the export of domestically produced fully revolving tugboats.

This batch of tugboats will start construction in 2023 and be delivered to overseas users in 2025. The tugboat adopts advanced power system design and is compatible with green biofuels, which helps reduce carbon emissions and achieve international performance. In the future, it will effectively improve the operational efficiency and safety of foreign ports.

To ensure the smooth exit of newly built tugboats, Rizhao Customs has contacted ship agents and manufacturing enterprises in advance to tailor a "one ship, one policy" customs clearance guarantee plan. On the day of departure, the Rizhao Customs, together with the Rizhao Border Inspection Station and other port inspection units, closely cooperated and successfully completed the inspection of the ship's hygiene status, and quickly processed relevant procedures, achieving seamless connection between various customs clearance links and ensuring the "zero waiting" departure of the tugboat.

The smooth "going global" of domestically produced tugboats this time is a concrete practice for Rizhao Port to promote the "going global" of high-end equipment manufacturing and serve the development of an outward oriented economy.
