The import and export value of Mangshi airport port exceeded 150million yuan in the first October
On November 18, a batch of fresh cut flowers weighing 2954kg were transported to Mandalay, Myanmar by air after being supervised and released by the customs officers of Mangshi airport in Dehong, Yunnan Province. Mangshi airport opened international cargo transportation in August 2023. Over the past two years, international aviation logistics has developed rapidly, and the types of import and export commodities cover 17 items, including jade, mechanical and electrical products, and plateau characteristic agricultural products. According to the statistics of Mangshi customs, in the first 10 months of this year, the import and export value of Mangshi airport port was 152million yuan, an increase of 4.83% year on year. The role of the economic radiation of the airport port in driving the development of Dehong Prefecture's foreign trade economy has become increasingly obvious.
"There is a strong demand for Yunnan flowers in the Southeast Asian market, and orders have increased a lot compared with last year. Flowers are perishable and afraid of temperature difference, so there is a high requirement for the timeliness of transportation. Sending flowers to Mandalay in Myanmar by direct flight can greatly reduce cargo damage and save operating costs." yangwenhai, head of Yunnan Hangjie International Supply Chain Co., Ltd., said.
