In order to support the smooth holding of this year's CIIE, the General Administration of Customs announced that it will continue to enrich the "toolbox" of supporting policies and launch 18 facilitation measures, including facilitating enterprise participation, expanding the types of exhibits, facilitating post exhibition disposal, and expanding spillover effects, to provide convenience for CIIE participating enterprises.

Resonating with Jinbo on the same frequency, Shanghai continues to optimize its business environment, and the action plan has been updated to version 8.0. This year, Shanghai has for the first time applied electronic port visas to foreign exhibitors at the China International Import Expo, providing on-demand customs clearance services; The public security department has launched 20 facilitation measures, including optimizing the management of document registration; The market supervision department implements a series of support policies such as exemption from 3C certification application

The achievements of institutional openness are also significant. From Pudong Leading Zone, Lingang New Area to Hongqiao International Open Hub, 80 measures of institutional opening in the pilot free trade zone have been basically implemented, of which 77 achievements have been promoted nationwide. Amplify the spillover effects of the CIIE on a larger scale

In the "Four Leaf Clover" event, the Hongqiao International Economic Forum was held simultaneously with the China International Import Expo, consolidating consensus for global openness. 33 sub forums and closed door meetings attracted experts and scholars such as Nobel laureates, as well as guests from international organizations such as the World Trade Organization, to discuss topics such as trade order, multilateralism, and the global South.

At the same time, Shanghai will host the 2025 CIIE Shanghai Conference, with over a hundred sub forums held simultaneously.
