The spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce answers questions from reporters on measures to adjust the list of unreliable entities
Beijing, November 5 (Xinhua) -- A spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce stated on November 5 that, in accordance with the provisions of the Anti Foreign Sanctions Law of the People's Republic of China, the Unreliable Entity List Regulations, and relevant regulations, the working mechanism for the Unreliable Entity List will issue announcements on March 4 and April 4, 2025, to include a batch of US entities in the Unreliable Entity List and take corresponding measures. In order to implement the consensus of the Kuala Lumpur Economic and Trade Consultation between China and the United States, the Chinese side has decided to continue suspending the measures related to the April 4th announcement (Announcement [2025] No. 7 on the Working Mechanism of the Unreliable Entity List) for one year from November 10, 2025, and to cease the measures related to the March 4th announcement (Announcement [2025] No. 5 and No. 6 on the Working Mechanism of the Unreliable Entity List). According to the relevant provisions of the "Regulations on the List of Unreliable Entities", domestic enterprises can apply to conduct transactions with the above-mentioned entities. The working mechanism of the Unreliable Entity List will review and approve applications that meet the conditions in accordance with the law.
A reporter asked: It is reported that according to the Kuala Lumpur Economic and Trade Consultation Consensus between China and the United States, China will adjust a batch of non-tariff measures against the United States. What considerations do you have regarding the unreliable entity list? The spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce made the above response to this.
