EU makes preliminary Anti Dumping Determination on adipic acid to China

On November 13, 2025, the European Commission announced that it would make a preliminary anti-dumping determination on adipic acid originating in China, and preliminarily ruled that the provisional anti-dumping duty of Chongqing Huafeng Chemical Co., Ltd. was 28.6%, that of Tangshan Zhonghao Chemical Co., Ltd. was 46.8%, that of other cooperative enterprises (see the original annex) was 32.0%, and that of other Chinese producers/exporters was 46.8%. The European Union CN (combined nomenclature) code of the product involved is ex 29171200 (Taric code is 2917120010). The dumping investigation period of this case is from January 1st, 2024 to December 31st, 2024, and the injury investigation period is from January 1st, 2021 to the end of the dumping investigation period. The announcement shall take effect from the next day after its issuance.

The interested parties shall submit the hearing application within 5 natural days from the next day of the announcement, and submit the case comments within 15 natural days.

On March 14, 2025, an anti-dumping investigation was launched against adipic acid originating in China.
