Morocco terminates anti-dumping measures against Danish insulin
On September 29, 2025, the Moroccan Ministry of Industry and Trade issued Announcement No. DDC/12/2025, stating that in response to the applicant's request to withdraw the investigation, it was decided to terminate the second sunset review investigation of anti-dumping measures on insulin originating in Denmark from October 1, 2025, and not to continue implementing anti-dumping measures.
On December 25, 2012, Morocco initiated an anti-dumping investigation into insulin originating from Denmark. On October 18, 2014, Morocco began imposing anti-dumping duties on Danish products involved in the case. On May 26, 2015, Morocco reached a price commitment with Danish producers/exporters. Afterwards, Morocco conducted a sunset review investigation and made its first positive final ruling on October 8, 2020, suspending taxation. On May 18, 2023, Morocco continued to impose 13.89% anti-dumping duties on Danish products involved in the case. On June 1, 2023, Morocco and Danish producers/exporters reached a price commitment and decided not to impose anti-dumping duties on the products involved temporarily. On October 21, 2024, Morocco initiated a second sunset review investigation into the case.
