Fresh agricultural products from the revolutionary old areas of western Henan are fragrant overseas
The autumn atmosphere in western Henan is strong, with layers of lush greenery and misty clouds on Funiu Mountain. Mushroom sheds are built along the mountain, lying quietly among the green waters and mountains.
Lushi County is located in the hinterland of Funiu Mountain. The Red 25th Army once broke through here during the Long March and advanced westward. The area has also become a red hot ground forged by blood and fire.
Nowadays, Lushi County has a good ecological environment, and the edible mushrooms and meat it produces are thick, fresh, delicious, and highly recognized in the market. The annual production of edible mushrooms has exceeded 400000 tons, with a comprehensive output value of nearly 10 billion yuan. About 36000 households and 118000 people are engaged in mushroom production. However, due to scattered planting areas and lack of export standards and qualifications, a large number of high-quality mushroom products are difficult to connect with the international market, and ecological advantages have not been transformed into foreign trade advantages.
In order to support the development of characteristic industries in revolutionary old areas, Zhengzhou Customs has issued the "Nine Measures to Support the High Quality Development of Lushi's Foreign Trade". The General Administration's Assistance Working Group stationed in Lushi has conducted in-depth research on mushroom sheds, connected with cooperatives, farmers, and export enterprises, guided the improvement of the edible mushroom export control system, and opened up the bottleneck for small-scale agricultural production to connect with international standards. In May of this year, the first large-scale edible mushroom export raw material filing "big base" in Henan Province was established in Lushi, covering 15 townships, 103 cooperatives and business entities.
After implementing standardized management in the large base, the quality of the source of goods has been stable. Since its operation, we have exported a total of 345.4 tons of dry and fresh edible mushrooms, a year-on-year increase of 103.5%, and exported to 13 countries and regions, "said Wu Shanhui, the person in charge of Sanmenxia Guangwang Agricultural Technology Development Co., Ltd.
Based on mature pilot experience, Sanmenxia Customs under Zhengzhou Customs adheres to the work philosophy of "one county, one area, differentiated cultivation, and tailored measures", promoting the deep advancement of fresh agricultural products in western Henan from "selling products" to "cultivating industries". Carry out breeding of excellent varieties of high-altitude peach and plum in Lingbao County, optimize the maturity stage through hierarchical cultivation, improve high-quality strains suitable for long-distance storage and transportation, and extend the window period for fresh fruit export; Guide Lushi County to standardize the production standards of authentic medicinal herbs and improve the export compliance system for Forsythia suspensa; Assist in optimizing the processing technology and improving quality control of Yangshao Niuxin persimmon in Mianchi County.
In response to the characteristics of short shelf life and high customs clearance requirements for fresh agricultural products, Sanmenxia Customs has promoted the landing of the first county-level export supervision warehouse in western Henan, which can achieve "local customs declaration, nearby warehousing, and fast tax refund". At the same time, through remote video inspection, laboratory testing, on-site verification and collaborative operations, the customs clearance time has been reduced by more than 60%.
From January to August this year, Sanmenxia Customs supervised the export of 24300 tons of fresh agricultural products, with a value of 150 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%.
