The first batch of Australian rapeseed has arrived in Zhanjiang, ensuring uninterrupted supply
On October 9th, the "Loudi" ship carrying 61000 tons of Australian rapeseed was successfully unloaded at Zhanjiang Port under the supervision of Xiashan Customs, which is under the jurisdiction of Zhanjiang Customs. This batch of goods is the first batch of goods after Zhanjiang Customs District was included in the expanded trial import scope of Australian rapeseed in July this year, and it is also the first time in nearly a decade that Zhanjiang Port has imported Australian rapeseed.
This batch of rapeseed will be used to supply COFCO Oils and Fats (Zhanjiang) Co., Ltd., which was previously shut down due to multiple factors such as typhoon damage, to help the enterprise resume work and production. To ensure efficient customs clearance of goods, Xiashan Customs has taken multiple measures, proactively contacted enterprises in advance, tracked ship dynamics in real time, and sorted out key quarantine and supervision points; During holidays, we will stick to the front line of the dock, open green channels, and implement boarding inspections and on-site inspections in an orderly manner. While strictly strengthening the national biosafety defense line, we will ensure the safe and fast clearance of goods. The smooth unloading of this batch of rapeseed has brought the key raw material "rations" for the enterprise to resume production.
Next, Xiashan Customs will continue to optimize its regulatory service model, further improve the convenience level of port clearance, actively create an efficient and convenient business environment at the port, and take more practical measures to serve high-level opening up to the outside world and help promote high-quality development of foreign trade.
