The total import and export value of goods trade in Heilongjiang Province increased by 11.1% in the first 8 months of 2026

According to Harbin Customs statistics, the total import and export value of goods trade in Heilongjiang Province was 232.01 billion yuan in the first eight months of 2026, an increase of 11.1% compared to the same period last year. Among them, exports amounted to 71.73 billion yuan, an increase of 21.7%; Imports amounted to 160.28 billion yuan, an increase of 6.9%.

The import and export of major trade modes have both increased. In the first 8 months, the general trade import and export of Heilongjiang Province reached RMB 2006.3 billion, an increase of 9.5%, accounting for 86.5% of the total import and export value of Heilongjiang Province during the same period. The import and export of small-scale border trade amounted to 20.69 billion yuan, an increase of 17.4%, accounting for 8.9% of the total import and export value of Heilongjiang Province during the same period. The import and export of bonded logistics reached 4.29 billion yuan, an increase of 93.3%, accounting for 1.8% of the total import and export value of Heilongjiang Province during the same period.

Private enterprises and foreign-invested enterprises are growing rapidly. In the first 8 months, the import and export of state-owned enterprises in Heilongjiang Province amounted to 126.47 billion yuan, a decrease of 1.4%, accounting for 54.5% of the total import and export value of Heilongjiang Province during the same period. The import and export of private enterprises reached 97.35 billion yuan, an increase of 31.2%, accounting for 42% of the total import and export value of Heilongjiang Province during the same period. Foreign invested enterprises imported and exported 7.05 billion yuan, an increase of 27.5%, accounting for 3% of the total import and export value of Heilongjiang Province during the same period.

The import and export of the countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" and other BRICS countries maintained growth. In the first eight months, the import and export of Heilongjiang Province to countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" was 214.12 billion yuan, an increase of 13.3%. Among them, exports amounted to 59.52 billion yuan, an increase of 28.3%; Imports amounted to 154.6 billion yuan, an increase of 8.4%. During the same period, imports and exports to the other 10 BRICS member countries amounted to 189.36 billion yuan, an increase of 11.9%. Among them, exports amounted to 40.52 billion yuan, an increase of 29.6%; Imports amounted to 148.84 billion yuan, an increase of 7.9%.

The exports of electromechanical products, labor-intensive products, and agricultural products have all increased. In the first 8 months, Heilongjiang Province exported 24.73 billion yuan worth of mechanical and electrical products, an increase of 5.2%, accounting for 34.5% of the total export value of Heilongjiang Province during the same period. The export of labor-intensive products reached 13.03 billion yuan, an increase of 6.4%, accounting for 18.2% of the total export value of Heilongjiang Province during the same period. The export of agricultural products reached 7.67 billion yuan, an increase of 7.4%, accounting for 10.7% of the total export value of Heilongjiang Province during the same period.

The import value of bulk commodities has increased. In the first 8 months, Heilongjiang Province imported bulk commodities worth 140.45 billion yuan, an increase of 6.6%. Among them, the import values of energy products, metal ores, and grain have all increased.
