Recently, the China Europe freight train (Shenzhen) loaded with mechanical equipment, smart homes, electronic products and other goods departed from Pinghu South National Logistics Hub and departed through Manzhouli Port.

As an important land hub for Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area to jointly build the "the Belt and Road", China Europe Express (Shenzhen) continues to release vitality relying on the regional foreign trade industry, and maintains a steady growth trend overall. The excellent performance of the channel operation has attracted more and more regional foreign trade enterprises to choose the China Europe freight train for cross-border trade. Since the beginning of this year, over 2600 foreign trade enterprises have used the China Europe freight train (Shenzhen) logistics channel, of which 51.5% are enterprises in the Pearl River Delta region and 15.8% are local enterprises in Shenzhen.

It is reported that the freight categories transported by the train cover 8 categories including mechanical equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, and automotive parts, with more than 7000 types of goods. Currently, 28 operating routes have been laid out, and a three-dimensional network with four main lines parallel to China Russia, Central Europe, Central Asia, and China Laos has been established, reaching 40 cities in 16 countries and regions.

In order to accelerate the quality improvement of the China Europe freight train (Shenzhen), Shenzhen Customs has established a one-stop service mechanism for demand docking, declaration consultation, and customs clearance policy guidance, comprehensively promoting the convenient customs clearance models of "manifest consolidation" and "railway express", and realizing the "loading upon arrival and shipment upon completion" of goods on the train. At the same time, promote the intermodal transportation mode of rail and public transportation, cooperate with the customs at the place of change and exit, and provide diversified logistics options for enterprises.

In the first eight months of this year, the number, weight, and value of China Europe freight trains (Shenzhen) continued to grow by double digits, reflecting not only the sustained recovery of foreign trade export demand, but also the stability and adaptability of China Europe freight train transportation that are more in line with the actual export situation of enterprises, "said Xu Zhenkang, head of the Inspection Department of Sungang Customs.

According to statistics, in the first eight months of this year, the China Europe Railway Express (Shenzhen) has operated a total of 155 export trains and exported 17000 TEUs of containers, an increase of 25% and 35% year-on-year, respectively. (Chen Yuting, Liu Hong/Wen)
