Recently, under the supervision of Jiaozhou Customs under Qingdao Customs, an international road transport vehicle loaded with hardware equipment departed from the Silk Road E-commerce Comprehensive Service Base in the SCO Demonstration Zone and headed to Moscow, the capital of Russia. This is the 1000th TIR international road transport vehicle shipped from the SCO demonstration zone.

TIR international road transportation has solved the problems of short distance cross-border and high time efficient freight transportation by relying on the advantages of not changing or reversing vehicles throughout the entire journey and "one declaration, one release, one vehicle to the end". TIR transportation is flexible, fast in turnover, and has significant advantages in transportation costs and efficiency. ”Wang Hongjiu, General Manager of Qingdao Lida Logistics Co., Ltd., said, "As the market increasingly recognizes the TIR model, we will continue to expand our fleet size and transport routes in the future. ”

Since the first launch of TIR cross-border road transportation business in the SCO Demonstration Zone in September 2023, multiple TIR transportation routes have been opened, including China Russia, China Kyrgyzstan Uzbekistan, China Kazakhstan, China Belarus Russia, and China Arab, with 37 TIR fleets and 880 registered vehicles.
