Recently, under the full supervision of the Lianglu Cuntan Customs under the jurisdiction of Chongqing Customs, Chongqing Xishan Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Xishan Technology") completed its first bonded maintenance business. 15 minimally invasive surgical equipment and parts were shipped out of the comprehensive bonded zone of Lianglu Guoyuan Port in Chongqing. This is also the first medical device bonded maintenance business to land in the Southwest region.

Bonded maintenance is a new business model in which enterprises in the comprehensive bonded zone transport goods to be repaired into the zone for maintenance in a bonded manner, and then transport them out of the country after completion. During the maintenance period, enterprises can temporarily suspend the payment of import tariffs and import taxes, without the need to provide tax guarantees, greatly alleviating the pressure on capital turnover.

In the past, when equipment from overseas customers malfunctioned, companies could only dispatch engineers to carry spare parts for overseas maintenance, or deploy new equipment to replace faulty equipment. This not only resulted in high costs, but also to some extent hindered the improvement of service efficiency in overseas markets.

This level helps enterprises dynamically manage the entry, maintenance, and outbound operation processes of products to be repaired through information systems, synchronously refine environmental protection and safety production supervision standards, and guide enterprises to establish special management ledgers for old parts, damaged parts, and scrap materials, standardize key links such as registration and filing, zoning warehousing, and compliant handling, and prevent business risks throughout the entire chain.

Expanding the bonded maintenance business of medical devices is an important practice to promote the transformation of the industrial form of the comprehensive bonded zone from traditional processing logistics to the deep integration of diversified and high-end production and services.
