Weihai Port achieves' zero breakthrough 'in vehicle exports

Recently, at the Weihai Port Terminal in Shandong Province, 110 medium-sized passenger cars produced by Zhongtong Automobile Co., Ltd. were arranged one by one and boarded an ocean liner under the supervision of Weihai Customs under Qingdao Customs to travel to the United Arab Emirates. This is the first time that Weihai Port has launched automobile export business, marking a "zero breakthrough" in local automobile exports.

The buses exported this time are specially customized for special climate environments such as high temperatures and sandstorms in the Middle East region. They have undergone technological upgrades in dust sealing, high temperature heat dissipation, and power adaptation, and are highly adapted to local transportation application scenarios. Zhao Zongyu, the manager of Weihai Gangfeng Ship Agency Co., Ltd., said that the delivery time of this batch of orders is tight, and the efficiency of customs clearance from declaration to port collection directly affects the fulfillment of the orders.

The export of whole vehicles belongs to the category of large goods, involving multiple links such as declaration standards, on-site inspections, and port integration.
