The complete set of port equipment is exported to Bangladesh for the first time through Pingtan Port
On September 18th, under the supervision of Pingtan Customs under Fuzhou Customs, the Chinese "Pan Zhou 6" loaded with a complete set of port operation equipment successfully completed customs clearance procedures and set sail from Pingtan Jinjing Port Area to Bangladesh. This is the first time Pingtan Port has exported complete sets of port equipment to Bangladesh, and also the first time Fujian Province has exported complete sets of equipment to Bangladesh this year.
It is reported that the export equipment this time mainly includes five categories of port operation equipment, such as quayside cranes and port mobile cranes, with a total value of more than 100 million yuan, which will be used for the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" cooperation project - the development and construction of the No. 1 Terminal and supporting facilities at the Port of Payra in Bangladesh.

It is reported that the batch of port equipment was first transported by waterway from Nanjing Port to Jinjing Port Area in Pingtan, and after completing export clearance procedures at Pingtan Port, it was sent to the destination port. To ensure the smooth export of equipment, Pingtan Customs has tailored a regulatory service plan, proactively liaising with shipping agents and cargo owners to streamline the entire process of ship regulatory type changes, export declarations, and other customs clearance matters, and proactively resolving enterprise clearance bottlenecks. We will collaborate with port inspection units to conduct one-time joint inspections such as health supervision of inbound and outbound vessels, and baggage inspection of crew members, in order to minimize the length of vessel stay in port and ensure efficient clearance of equipment, "said Lin Cheng, Deputy Director of the Logistics Monitoring Department of the Pingtan Customs Office in Jinjing.
