The 16th round of negotiations for the second phase of the China Korea Free Trade Agreement will be held in Beijing from August 31 to September 4, 2026. Both sides have conducted in-depth consultations on issues such as cross-border service trade and negative list market access, and have made positive progress. Both sides agree to accelerate and strive to complete negotiations as soon as possible, further enhance the level of openness in the service investment field between China and South Korea, and help promote the healthy and stable development of China South Korea economic and trade relations.
