In the first 8 months, the export volume of fruit juice from Wafangdian increased by over 70% (see chart)

In the production workshop of Dalian Luda Food Co., Ltd., apples with full fruit shape and rosy color are packed and packaged after a series of processes. After passing the inspection by the customs officers of Dalian Changxing Island, this batch of concentrated apple juice is exported by ocean going cargo ship from Dayaowan Port.

Wafangdian City in Dalian, Liaoning Province is a core fruit production area in southern Liaoning. The specialty fruits grown, such as apples, cherries, and grapes, have high sugar content and superior quality, and are widely recognized by domestic and foreign markets. After years of development, the local area has established a multi category fruit processing industry system, including compound fruit juice, canned fruit juice, and flavored fruit juice.

This year, our company attempted to open up new markets, but due to frequent updates in technical trade measures such as storage, circulation efficiency, and food safety control standards for concentrated apple juice liquid products in various countries, we have many doubts about foreign market access, customs clearance efficiency, and tariff benefits. After learning about our difficulties, the customs took the initiative to provide us with customs clearance guidance, not only helping us benchmark export country access rules and adjust full process control standards, but also opening up export 'green channels' to ensure the smooth export of our products, "said Zhao Lirong, the head of import and export business at Dalian Luda Food Co., Ltd.

In order to promote the expansion of exports of characteristic agricultural products in the jurisdiction, Dalian Changxing Island Customs has collected difficulties and bottlenecks in enterprise exports, and carried out "one-on-one" assistance through the "Customs Enterprise Direct Train" to guide enterprises to strengthen source control and help them sort out overseas access requirements. In response to the regulatory characteristics of liquid fruit juice products, a fast customs clearance corridor for cold chain logistics has been established, combined with remote inspection, cloud issuance of inspection and quarantine certificates, and a "green channel" for exporting characteristic agricultural products. Through measures such as advance declaration and appointment inspection, 24-hour fast customs clearance can be achieved, reducing storage and transportation losses.

In recent years, we have anchored the characteristic industry of deep processing of fruits and vegetables and guided enterprises in our jurisdiction to expand their export scope.
