In response to a question about the US government considering imposing an additional 7.5% tariff on imported goods from China, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce, Huang Ling, said that the US launched a 301 investigation on 16 economies, including China, under the pretext of "overcapacity", politicizing economic and trade issues, which is a typical unilateralism and protectionism behavior.
