Yunnan's foreign trade increased by 9.3% year-on-year in the first 7 months

According to statistics from Kunming Customs, Yunnan's import and export of goods reached 168.19 billion yuan in the first seven months of this year, a year-on-year increase of 9.3%. Among them, exports amounted to 58.18 billion yuan, an increase of 9.2%; Imports reached 110.1 billion yuan, an increase of 9.4%.

In the first seven months of this year, Yunnan's import and export to the "the Belt and Road" trading partners reached 144.99 billion yuan, up 9.6% year on year, and its trade ties with the countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" were closer. The import and export to ASEAN reached a historic high for the same period, breaking through 90 billion yuan for the first time, reaching 90.18 billion yuan, an increase of 21.3%. Among them, the trade volume with Myanmar, Thailand, and Laos increased by 31.1%, 43.3%, and 28.1% respectively. In addition, imports and exports to Latin America and Africa increased by 15.8% and 41% respectively.
