Central banks of China and Argentina renew bilateral currency swap agreement
Beijing, August 6 (Xinhua) -- It was learned from the People's Bank of China on August 6 that the People's Bank of China has recently renewed a bilateral currency swap agreement with the Central Bank of Argentina, with a swap scale of 130 billion yuan/28 trillion Argentine pesos. The agreement is valid for five years and can be extended upon mutual agreement.
The People's Bank of China stated that the renewal of the bilateral currency swap agreement between China and Arab countries will help further deepen financial cooperation between the two countries, promote bilateral economic and trade exchanges, and maintain financial market stability.
