On August 1st, under the supervision of customs officers from Beiliang Port under Dalian Customs, the "Bisu 10" ship loaded with 206000 tons of Guinea Simandou iron ore slowly docked at the Dalian Port ore terminal. After the implementation of the "bonded crushing" business for iron ore in Dalian this year, the Dalian Port ore terminal has cumulatively unloaded 660000 tons of Ximangdu iron ore.

Bonded crushing of iron ore refers to the transportation of iron ore in chunks to domestic ports, allowing enterprises to carry out crushing operations on imported bonded iron ore at domestic ports. After processing, the finished products are stored or distributed in a bonded state, reducing the safety risks and costs of transportation caused by the high moisture content of the ore in the region. This further expands the supply channels of raw materials for the steel industry in Northeast China and helps to ensure the safety and stability of the steel industry supply chain.

To ensure the smooth import of iron ore, Beiliang Port Customs uses five types of intelligent equipment, including online radioactive monitoring and solid waste screening, to implement seamless customs clearance. It has established a dual track supervision system with intelligent inspection as the main focus and manual emergency backup, and implemented differentiated inspection and supervision of iron ore according to risk levels.
