Within 5 days, domestic and foreign merchants crossed mountains and seas to rush to the "Golden City Agreement". Under the theme of "pragmatic cooperation new opportunities, open development new pattern", they deeply connected with Gansu's resource endowment and industrial advantages, jointly expanded cooperation channels, and explored investment space. All cities and prefectures in Gansu have joined hands with each other on the same frequency, with fruitful results in signing contracts, and the vitality of exhibition consumption has burst out. With tangible mutual benefit and win-win results, it has injected new impetus into the high-quality co construction of the "the Belt and Road" and the construction of new land and sea channels in the west.
Continuously expanding external cooperation
Lanzhou International Trade Fair is the largest, highest standard and most influential international economic and trade event in Gansu Province. It has grown from a regional exhibition to a national platform serving the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" and boosting the high-level opening up of the western region.
At the opening ceremony of this year's Lanzhou International Fair, South Korean Ambassador to China, Roh Jae hun, expressed his hope to take this fair as an opportunity to continuously expand exchanges and cooperation in new energy, new materials, equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, cultural heritage protection, tourism and other fields, and jointly create a mutually beneficial and win-win future.
Pakistan's Ambassador to China, Karel Hashmi, stated that he looks forward to more effective business connections with Gansu and Chinese enterprises, further expanding practical cooperation in education, agriculture, economy and trade, and humanities, and promoting the high-quality development of the "2.0 upgraded version" of the China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
There were 13 international economic and trade activities in this year's Lanzhou International Trade Fair. The opening ceremony of the national pavilions of South Korea and Pakistan, a series of special events for in-depth bilateral economic and trade docking were held, and the opening ceremonies of the national pavilions of Thailand, Malaysia, and the Philippines were held simultaneously. The international commercial legal cooperation of the "the Belt and Road" and trade and investment in Central Asia, foreign investment of "Green China · Investment in Gansu", "Travel in Gansu" of Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan enterprises, trade cooperation of RCEP characteristic agricultural products, and docking meeting of "Overseas Chinese help thousands of enterprises and thousands of products go to sea" and other foreign-related special docking activities were carried out to build multi-level cross-border cooperation bridges.

Liu Shaokang, President of Hebei Wenfeng Industrial Group, shared the construction story of the 6 million ton alumina project of Gansu Jiatang Aluminum Industry: Provincial and municipal officials have come to the site multiple times to provide services, various departments have coordinated fully, and Jiuquan Iron and Steel Group has provided strong support in water and electricity, access roads, and other aspects.
This year's Lanzhou International Fair comprehensively promoted targeted investment attraction in the industrial chain, closely linked to the 14 key industrial chains in Gansu Province, coordinated the upgrading of traditional industries, the agglomeration of emerging industries, the improvement of characteristic industries, the future industrial layout, and the expansion of the service industry, sorted out 1065 industrial chain projects, 412 scenario application projects, and publicly released them by relying on the digital investment attraction system of "Gansu Investment", the official website of Lanzhou International Fair, the WeChat applet of "Investing in Gansu", the official account and other platforms. Through various modes such as central local cooperation investment promotion, chamber of commerce investment promotion, alumni investment promotion, technology investment promotion, and scenario investment promotion, we will carry out industry chain extension, supplementation, and strengthening investment promotion. Various regions are focusing on targeted promotion of cutting-edge fields such as green economy, equipment manufacturing, modern agriculture, electronic information, low altitude economy, biomedicine, and new energy. At the same time, various cities and prefectures have seized opportunities and carried out diverse forms of economic and trade exchange activities in accordance with local conditions. Lanzhou City focuses on the "six major economies" and holds a high-quality development industry docking symposium, supporting 10 special docking activities such as "new energy+"; Wuwei City focuses on 9 key industrial chains to carry out precise investment promotion, covering 5 billion level industrial clusters including local new energy, new materials, food processing, dairy industry, and cultural tourism, and extending to multiple fields such as modern agriculture, modern logistics, medical health, and digital economy; Baiyin City focuses on promoting six major industries: non-ferrous rare earths, circular chemicals, new materials, new energy, cultural tourism, and processing of characteristic agricultural products; Pingliang City plans to launch a batch of high-quality investment projects, including clean and efficient utilization of coal, development of modern agriculture, cultural tourism and health care, biomanufacturing, magnesium based new materials, and modern logistics, around the extension and strengthening of key industries; Zhangye City carries out project promotion and industry docking, and invites entrepreneurs to share resource advantages around industries such as new energy, new materials, equipment manufacturing, green computing power, green chemicals, modern seed industry, characteristic agriculture, cultural tourism and health care.
Liu Dong, Director of the Economic Cooperation Center of Gansu Province, introduced that the proportion of projects worth over 1 billion yuan signed at this year's Lanzhou International Fair has reached 61%, and the proportion of investment projects from "Top 500 Enterprises of Class 3" and listed companies has reached 47%. The "Attracting Large and Strong Leaders" action has achieved significant results, injecting lasting momentum into the construction of Gansu's modern industrial system.
Integrated consumption and global linkage
At the Qingyang Exhibition Hall of this year's Lanzhou International Fair, intelligent robots wearing tiger hats danced to the music, attracting people to stop. In the intelligent manufacturing exhibition area, products such as drones, smart medical detectors, and AI health management terminals were showcased, showcasing the concept of "China Computing Valley · Smart Qingyang". This is a concentrated display of the practical achievements of the integration of data and reality in Qingyang's computing power construction, supported by hardware precision, algorithm intelligence, and system stability in all aspects, expanding the broad application scenarios of "intangible cultural heritage+technology".
The Gannan Exhibition Hall integrates three core dimensions: high-altitude ecology, Tibetan culture, and green industry. 33 companies bring 264 categories of characteristic products to participate in the exhibition, and ethnic cultural performances and business negotiations are held simultaneously, allowing customers to experience the unique charm of the nine colors of Gannan up close. In the Linxia Exhibition Hall, the colorful pottery patterns of Majiayao culture, "flower" folk songs, plateau summer cuisine, yak meat and other characteristic agricultural products were showcased one by one. The Zhangye Industrial Hall is themed "Silk Road Pearl Golden Zhangye - One Screen, Three Regions Painting New Chapter", and comprehensively uses physical exhibition, VR immersive experience, sound and light simulation, scene restoration and other forms to deeply integrate nearly 50 single items from the three major series of Linze County's "Yipin Danxia" cultural and tourism brand with the colorful Danxia, becoming a highlight of check-in.
The total exhibition area of this year's Lanzhou International Fair is 54000 square meters, with five major exhibition areas: Silk Road International Cooperation, Regional Cooperation and Exchange, Featured Advantageous Industries, Fashion Consumer Goods and Foreign Trade Excellent Products, and Authentic "Sweet Taste". The exhibits cover nearly 40 categories of tens of thousands of products, including new energy, new materials, artificial intelligence, equipment manufacturing, biomedicine, modern agriculture, cultural tourism and health care, and daily consumer goods. Each city and prefecture in Gansu Province has its own independent pavilion, showcasing their respective industrial resources, investment opportunities, and investment results.
The exhibition and sales activities took turns, with a total of 46 product promotion events and new product launches held in each exhibition area, effectively gathering customer traffic and igniting the popularity of the exhibition area. A total of 151000 visitors have visited the exhibition hall. The fully upgraded digital service platform of the Lanzhou International Fair has built a virtual cloud exhibition hall, relying on virtual reality technology to provide online exhibition scenes for domestic and foreign enterprises without leaving their homes. It also synchronously launches functions such as cloud based reception, intelligent matching, and investment matching, creating a normalized online docking carrier throughout the year.
