Multiple data sets for Harbin's foreign trade in the first half of the year hit new highs
According to statistics from Bingcheng Customs, the total import and export value of goods trade in Harbin reached 27.65 billion yuan in the first half of the year, a year-on-year increase of 9.2%. The import and export scale not only set a new historical high for the same period, but also maintained positive growth for five consecutive years, providing solid support for the stable economic growth of the city.
The monthly growth rate continues to rise, achieving an "accelerated run" in the second quarter. From the quarterly trend, the city's import and export value increased by 29.2% year-on-year in the second quarter. From a monthly performance perspective, the city's import and export value reached 6.11 billion yuan in June, a monthly increase of 47.9%, making it the peak month for import and export scale in the first half of the year. In the second quarter, each month maintained double-digit high-speed growth, drawing a strong upward curve for foreign trade operations in the first half of the year.
Private enterprises continue to consolidate their position as the main force in foreign trade growth, effectively unleashing the vitality of market entities. In the first half of the year, the import and export value of private enterprises in Harbin reached 20.6 billion yuan, an increase of 36.5%, becoming a solid support for the stable growth of the city's foreign trade with a proportion of over 70%. At the same time, the industrial ecology of collaborative development between leading enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises continues to optimize, and the endogenous driving force of foreign trade development has significantly increased.
The market's "circle of friends" continues to expand, and the diversified expansion pattern is accelerating its formation. In the first half of the year, the "friend circle" of Harbin's foreign trade continued to expand, with 212 countries (regions) having trade relations, an increase of 30 compared to the same period last year. It is worth noting that Harbin's import and export volume to countries jointly building the "the Belt and Road" reached 22.05 billion yuan, an increase of 15.7%, accounting for 79.7% of the city's total import and export value. The breadth and depth of opening up and cooperation continued to expand.
The structure of import and export commodities is moving towards a new and better direction, and the acceleration of new quality productivity is empowering foreign trade growth. In the first half of the year, the export of high-tech products in Harbin reached 13.4 billion yuan, an increase of 19.5%. Among them, the export of aerospace technology increased by 23.5%, and the competitiveness of high-tech products in the international market continued to strengthen. At the same time, the high-end equipment manufacturing industry has performed remarkably well, with automobile exports reaching 890 million yuan, an increase of over 50%. The outstanding performance of high-end manufacturing and high-tech products is accelerating to become a strong new engine driving the upgrading of Harbin's foreign trade exports.
