The National Symposium on Technical Trade Measures for Market Supervision System was held in Wuhan

On July 15th, a symposium on technical trade measures for the national market supervision system was held in Wuhan, Hubei Province.   Shu Wei, member of the Party Group and Deputy Director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, and Director of the National Certification and Accreditation Administration, attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Hu Yabo, Vice Governor of Hubei Province, also attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

The meeting pointed out that in the past year, the market supervision system has deeply implemented the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important instructions and directives, united and cooperated, fulfilled its duties and responsibilities, and promoted the work of technical trade measures to achieve practical results in improving the work system, enhancing enterprise response capabilities, and serving industry development.

The meeting emphasized that market regulatory departments at all levels should thoroughly implement the decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, firmly establish and practice the correct view of political achievements, improve their political stance, enhance their overall awareness, and deeply understand the important role of technical trade measures in serving high-level opening up to the outside world and supporting the construction of a high-quality strong country. We must effectively leverage the advantages of market supervision functions, take more practical measures to continuously improve the response capabilities of enterprises, strive for greater breakthroughs in improving the compliance level of the industrial chain, and actively shape international economic and trade rules and standards to achieve more.

Officials from the market supervision departments of eight provinces (cities) including Hubei, Beijing, Hebei, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Fujian, Shandong, and Sichuan made exchange speeches. Comrades from relevant departments such as the Ministry of Commerce, as well as market supervision departments and directly affiliated units from various provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, attended the meeting.
