In the first half of the year, Tianjin Port shipped 394 China Europe (Central Asia) trains

On July 21, a batch of lubricants arrived at Tianjin Port directly by sea. Under the supervision of the New Port Customs under Tianjin Customs, they quickly completed the transit clearance procedures, and then took the scheduled train from Tianjin to Khorgos.

Tianjin Port is an important hub node for the sea land intersection of the "the Belt and Road". At present, it has opened multiple China Europe (Central Asia) trains leaving the country through Erenhot, Alashankou, Khorgos and other ports, covering the major nodes of Eurasian countries, and the international train operation network has been increasingly dense. Since the beginning of this year, Tianjin Customs has been closely monitoring the bottlenecks and difficulties in the development of freight trains, continuously optimizing regulatory models, improving service efficiency, and fully safeguarding the high-quality operation of freight trains.

Now not only are the scheduled train routes becoming more and more comprehensive and covering more directions, but also multiple modes such as water water multimodal transport and sea rail multimodal transport are added. We can flexibly combine the optimal transportation path according to different types of goods and destinations, and the adaptability and stability of the overall logistics plan have reached a new level. Customs supervision models continue to innovate and services continue to follow up, which also gives us more confidence in expanding new routes and developing new sources of goods

To ensure stable and efficient shipment of trains, Tianjin Customs actively builds a coordination mechanism for "customs, port, and railway enterprises", deepens collaborative supervision with other port customs, prioritizes the review and release of goods on the entire timetable train, and helps to build a port station layout that radiates 38 cities in 20 countries in Europe and Asia. Since the beginning of this year, we have assisted in the opening and operation of the Tianjin Alashankou scheduled train, increasing the number of regular operation scheduled train lines to four. Actively support the construction of the Tianjin China Europe freight train assembly center, establish a green window for China Europe (Central Asia) freight trains to provide "one-stop" services, and realize the on-demand reporting and release of freight trains.

According to statistics, in the first half of this year, Tianjin Customs supervised the shipment of 394 China Europe (Central Asia) freight trains carrying 42464 TEUs, an increase of 7.9% and 8.0% year-on-year, respectively. (Tao Lin/Wen)
