Since the beginning of this year, the new terminal building (T3 terminal) of Guangzhou Baiyun Airport has opened up international business, expanded routes, and improved customs clearance efficiency. To ensure efficient and convenient customs clearance for inbound and outbound passengers, we continue to promote the construction of smart customs, comprehensively applying advanced machine inspection, intelligent map review and other technologies to ensure that inbound passengers can pass through customs without feeling any discomfort. We closely cooperate with civil aviation and security departments to achieve "one-time inspection" for outbound customs clearance. Cross border passenger flow continues to grow, further activating new forms of duty-free consumption at ports. Based on the dual development needs of cultural and tourism consumption and domestic goods going global, Guangzhou Baiyun Airport Customs has optimized its duty-free supervision services to assist in the transformation and upgrading of duty-free business at the port.
"Since this year, we have supported port duty-free stores to introduce time-honored products, cultural and creative products, intangible cultural heritage products and other high-quality products that reflect the excellent traditional Chinese culture, set up special stores to sell domestic products, constantly improve the supervision process of duty-free goods for domestic goods, and increase the sales of domestic products in duty-free stores."
