Direct flights to Jiaxing Nanhu Airport in Central and Eastern Europe, with the addition of an international cargo route from Jiaxing to Budapest

On June 20th, a full cargo plane loaded with cross-border e-commerce packages took off from Jiaxing Nanhu Airport and flew to Budapest, Hungary after transit, marking the official opening of the "Jiaxing Budapest" international freight route. This is the second international cargo route opened by Jiaxing Nanhu Airport after the "Jiaxing Dhaka" route, and also the first European direction route opened by Jiaxing Airport.

The opening of new routes has further improved the international logistics layout of Jiaxing Airport Port, injecting new momentum into the transformation and upgrading of regional foreign trade and high-level opening up to the outside world. He Yaoqi, General Manager of Jiaxing Airport Port Development Co., Ltd., stated that the new route has opened up a direct logistics link from Jiaxing and northern Zhejiang to the Central and Eastern European markets, effectively solving the pain points of multiple transit links, long transportation cycles, and high logistics costs in the past for foreign trade exports to Central and Eastern Europe. It provides new logistics options for local enterprises to explore the European market and is an important breakthrough for Jiaxing Airport to improve its international freight network and help the region open up to the outside world.

To ensure the smooth maiden voyage of the Budapest International Freight Route and maintain normal and stable operation, Jiaxing Customs has tailored regulatory protection plans based on the characteristics of cross-border transportation and export goods on the Central and Eastern European routes, deepened the construction of smart customs, comprehensively promoted digital supervision methods such as intelligent map review and machine dog patrol, opened a "green channel", implemented measures such as all-weather appointment clearance and appointment inspection, continuously compressed the clearance time of goods, reduced enterprise logistics and warehousing costs, and fully guaranteed the rapid clearance of import and export goods. The new route accurately matches the export needs of local high-end manufacturing, cross-border e-commerce, and textile industries, helping local high-quality products directly reach the European market.
