In the first five months, the "Yixin Europe" China Europe freight train exported over 70000 TEUs of containers

On June 8th, a train loaded with mechanical equipment, household appliances, daily necessities and other goods departed from the East China International Intermodal Port and headed towards Russia. According to statistics, in the first five months of this year, the "Yixin Europe" China Europe freight train operated 879 outbound trains, exporting 71000 TEUs of containers, a year-on-year increase of 15.7%.
From 'quantity' to 'quality improvement'. In the first five months, the "Yixin Europe" China Europe freight train not only continued to increase its frequency of operation, but also iteratively upgraded its export goods structure - gradually expanding from the "small commodity list" mainly consisting of daily necessities and textiles and clothing to high value-added products such as photovoltaic modules and smart home appliances.
The business model of the China Europe freight train is also expanding and optimizing. The new business models of export rail public multimodal transport and import/export sea rail multimodal transport have been successively implemented in the Hangzhou Customs District, fully utilizing the advantages of long-distance and large capacity railway transportation combined with sea and road transportation, reducing the dwell time and loading and unloading times in the transportation process, enjoying more streamlined customs clearance procedures and lower logistics costs. This model not only provides new logistics options for Zhejiang manufacturing to "go global", but also solidifies the foundation of multimodal transportation for the construction of the China Europe freight train assembly center, further links and integrates the supply markets of multiple places in the Yangtze River Delta, and amplifies the radiation efficiency of the "Yixin Europe" China Europe freight train.
Gu Guangtian, the head of the Supervision Department of Jinhua Customs, stated that the customs will deeply practice the "Yiwu Development Experience", actively promote the facilitation reform of export railway public multimodal transport in response to the development needs of China Europe freight trains, and take digital reform as the driving force to deepen the data exchange and sharing among customs, railways, and stations, and continuously improve the integration of customs clearance and intelligent supervision.
As one of the important assembly centers of China's China Europe Express, the "Yixin Europe" China Europe Express has opened 27 stable operation routes, reaching more than 160 cities in more than 50 countries and regions in the Eurasian continent. Its export volume ranks first in the Yangtze River Delta region and ranks first in the country. It is an important logistics channel for countries and regions that "Made in Zhejiang" exports jointly build the "the Belt and Road".
