3、 Comprehensive Market Review

Today, the overall black market closed slightly lower, while finished materials, mining, and coking coal weakened simultaneously, with only coke remaining at a high level to provide cost support. The southern region of China continues to experience heavy rainfall, hindering construction sites and entering the traditional off-season for steel terminal demand. Market speculation and willingness to purchase goods are sluggish, resulting in a month on month decline in daily building materials transactions nationwide.

There is a turning point in the inventory side, with the total inventory of the five major steel varieties shifting from a decrease to an increase, and the port iron ore continues to accumulate, gradually revealing pressure on the supply side. Short term steel prices maintain a weak and volatile pattern, with significant pressure on the upper side and limited downward space supported by coke costs.
