According to Xiamen Customs statistics, from January to March, Fujian exported electric vehicles worth 1.95 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 30%, accounting for 43.3% of the total value of Fujian's automobile exports during the same period, and the export scale reached a historical high for the same period.
Electric manned vehicles are the mainstream commodity of electric vehicle exports in Fujian. According to statistics, from January to March, Fujian exported electric passenger vehicles worth 1.93 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 30.9%, accounting for over 90% of the province's total export value of electric vehicles during the same period, reaching 98.8%; Among them, the export of pure electric buses with 10 or more seats was 570 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.3 times, and the export of pure electric passenger cars was 410 million yuan, accounting for 21.1%.
From the perspective of business entities, private enterprises are the absolute mainstay of Fujian's electric vehicle exports. According to officials from Xiamen Customs, from January to March, private enterprises in Fujian exported electric vehicles worth 1.73 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 47.1%, accounting for nearly 90% of the total export value of electric vehicles in the province during the same period. During the same period, state-owned enterprises in Fujian exported electric vehicles worth 180 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 27.7%, accounting for 9%; Foreign invested enterprises exported electric vehicles worth 36.03 million yuan, accounting for 1.8%.

The United Arab Emirates is the largest market for Fujian's electric vehicle exports. Data shows that from January to March, Fujian exported electric vehicles worth 570 million yuan to the United Arab Emirates, accounting for 29.1% of the province's total electric vehicle exports during the same period. During the same period, Africa and Latin America, as emerging markets, showed good growth momentum. Fujian exported electric vehicles worth 270 million yuan and 170 million yuan respectively to these regions, an increase of 97.4% and 2.2 times year-on-year, respectively. In addition, from January to March, Fujian exported electric vehicles worth 190 million yuan to Norway, a fivefold increase compared to the same period last year.
