Under the joint planning and personal promotion of the two heads of state, China Russia relations have become increasingly calm, confident, stable and resilient, setting an example for a new type of major power relationship, bringing tangible benefits to both countries and their peoples, and making important contributions to maintaining global strategic stability and improving global governance. During this visit, the two heads of state will exchange views on bilateral relations, cooperation in various fields, and international and regional issues of common concern, which will surely promote the new height of China Russia relations in the new era and inject positive energy into world peace and development.

The most essential characteristics of China Russia relations are permanent neighborly friendship, comprehensive strategic cooperation, and mutually beneficial cooperation and win-win outcomes. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the China Russia strategic partnership, the 25th anniversary of the signing of the China Russia Treaty of Good Neighborliness, Friendship and Cooperation, and the launch of the "China Russia Education Year". Both sides will seize the new historical opportunity for the development of China Russia relations, further enhance political mutual trust, continue to deepen all-round cooperation in various fields, and continuously build a social and public opinion foundation of intergenerational friendship. In recent years, with the joint efforts of China and Russia, cooperation in various fields between the two countries has continued to deepen and become more practical. Cooperation in key areas has blossomed at multiple points, local cooperation vitality has continued to burst, and cooperation in emerging fields has expanded comprehensively, achieving fruitful results. By 2025, the bilateral trade volume between China and Russia will reach 227.9 billion US dollars, surpassing the 200 billion US dollar mark for three consecutive years, and China will maintain its position as Russia's largest trading partner for 16 consecutive years. In the first four months of this year, the bilateral trade volume between China and Russia reached 85.241 billion US dollars, a year-on-year increase of 19.7%. The mutual hosting of themed years has become a fine tradition of cultural exchanges between China and Russia, as well as a characteristic and highlight in the history of the development of bilateral relations. This year's "China Russia Education Year" is the tenth national theme year between the two countries, which will inject new impetus into enhancing mutual understanding and promoting the development and revitalization of the two countries.

In the face of the turbulent and intertwined international situation, the stability and certainty of China Russia relations are particularly valuable. It is not only a solid guarantee for the development and revitalization of both countries, but also injects valuable stability and positive energy into maintaining global strategic stability and improving global governance.
