666 tons of frozen squid! Xiangshan Port welcomes its first imported ocean going fishing vessel of the year
On May 27th, the ocean going fishing vessel "Yongfa 1/YONGFA1" was loaded with 666 tons of frozen squid and slowly docked at the Xiangshan Supply and Marketing Port. After on-site supervision by Xiangshan Customs, a subsidiary of Ningbo Customs, the vessel successfully began unloading operations and became the first imported ocean going fishing vessel to arrive at Xiangshan Port this year.
This is the first time that China Supply and Marketing Terminal has received and unloaded offshore fishing catch, and it is also the first time that shippers have attempted to conduct import and export business at Xiangshan Port. We proactively provide advanced services, strengthen communication with enterprises and terminals, carry out policy promotion and business guidance, and streamline the customs clearance process for imported goods, "said Yan Yuxiao, head of Xiangshan Customs Supervision Department.
It is reported that this unloading is the first imported cargo ship welcomed by the China Supply and Marketing Terminal after passing the national level acceptance, marking the full launch of import and export business at this newly opened port and officially entering the normal operation stage. In addition, the Xiangshan Modern Marine Fisheries Doubling Platform has been successfully selected for the second batch of provincial-level marine industry quality improvement and efficiency doubling platform cultivation list, with a focus on four functional areas: Hepu Fishing Port, Nordic Aquatic Park, Shipumen Qiantang, and China Aquatic City, to build a full industry chain spatial carrier from seed research and development, breeding and fishing, processing and circulation to trade services.
