In early summer, the south wind brushes against the face, and early maturing Dan Li branches out first. At present, Maoming lychee has entered the golden season of concentrated listing and bulk export. Batch after batch of early maturing lychee varieties such as osmanthus fragrance and Feizixiao have been carefully sorted, refrigerated, and strictly quarantined, and have been shipped one after another, setting sail for the sea and sending the first taste of sweet lychee from early summer in Lingnan to various parts of the world.
In order to escort lychee freshness to the sea, Maoming Customs, a subsidiary of Zhanjiang Customs, has tailored a customs clearance guarantee plan based on the characteristics of short lychee preservation cycle and high clearance time requirements, providing a full chain of warm services from source control, on-site quarantine inspection to rapid clearance and release. Vigorously promote the early declaration and appointment inspection mode, popularize digital convenience measures such as "cloud issuance" and self-service printing, deepen the reform of the "batch inspection (quarantine)" and "remote local inspection" supervision modes, achieve same day declaration, same day inspection, and same day certificate issuance through information technology, shorten the inspection cycle of exported lychee by 70%, and make lychee exports faster and fresher.
At the same time, Maoming Customs took the initiative to assist enterprises in overcoming difficulties and expanding the market, relying on the (Guangdong Maoming) Special Fruit Technical Trade Measures Research and Evaluation Base, to make advance judgments on overseas market access rules and quarantine standards, and guide enterprises to improve the full process management of planting base registration, green prevention and control of pests and diseases, and self inspection and self-control of pesticide residues. Taking advantage of the RCEP policy dividend, Maoming's lychee export territory continues to expand, covering five continents around the world, by combining the advantages of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area, the Beibu Gulf Urban Agglomeration, and the Hainan Free Trade Port.
Since the beginning of this year, as of May 14th, the export volume of lychee under the supervision of Maoming Customs has reached 2455 tons, with a value of 56.35 million yuan, an increase of 13.8 times and 9.3 times respectively year-on-year, and is popular in 13 countries and regions including the United States and Australia.
