Chongqing, May 14 (Xinhua) -- Tajikistan President Rahmon said on the 13th that the development of China's automobile, motorcycle and other manufacturing industries has left a good impression on him. He welcomes Chinese manufacturing enterprises to develop in Tajikistan, achieve complementary advantages, and further promote economic and trade exchanges and mutually beneficial cooperation between the two sides in the future.

On the morning of the 13th, Rahmon arrived in Chongqing by plane. On that day, Rahmon visited two manufacturing enterprises in Chongqing and had interactive exchanges with representatives of related enterprises.

Rahmon first visited the Chongqing Sailis Super Factory, visited the automobile production workshop, and listened carefully to the introduction of the staff. During this time, Rahmon entered a display car with great interest and told the nearby staff that he wanted to test drive it.

Afterwards, Rahmon went to Zongshen Industrial Park to visit exhibits such as motorcycles, special vehicles, drones, and small agricultural machinery in the enterprise exhibition hall.

Tajikistan has abundant mineral resources and abundant labor resources, and the two sides can complement each other's advantages. Chinese enterprises are welcome to invest and develop in Tajikistan.

In recent years, China Tajikistan economic and trade cooperation has developed rapidly. In 2025, the import and export volume of China and Tajikistan will reach 30.858 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%.

Rahmon said that in the future, Tajikistan is willing to continue deepening economic and trade exchanges between the two sides and promote more practical cooperation.
