The reporter recently learned from Bingcheng Customs that in the first quarter, the total import and export value of goods in the Harbin area of China (Heilongjiang) Pilot Free Trade Zone (hereinafter referred to as the Harbin area) was 5.43 billion yuan, an increase of 94.9% compared to the same period last year, reaching a historical high. Among them, exports amounted to 2.26 billion yuan, an increase of 6.7%; Imports amounted to 3.17 billion yuan, an increase of 372.7%, accounting for 46% of Harbin's total import and export value, driving the overall growth of the city's foreign trade by 20.2 percentage points.
From the perspective of trade methods, general trade dominates. Imports and exports through general trade amounted to 5.19 billion yuan, an increase of 120.7%, accounting for 95.6% of the total import and export value. Among them, exports amounted to 2.03 billion yuan, an increase of 20.7%; Imports amounted to 3.16 billion yuan, an increase of 371%.
From the perspective of foreign trade entities, private enterprises maintain a high level of vitality. There are 92 enterprises with import and export performance in the Harbin area, an increase of 8 or 9.5% year-on-year. Among them, there are 81 private enterprises, accounting for 88% of all enterprises. The import and export value of private enterprises was 5.09 billion yuan, an increase of 120.6%, accounting for 93.7% of the total import and export value, an increase of 10.9 percentage points compared to the same period last year. Among them, exports amounted to 1.92 billion yuan, an increase of 16.9%; Imports amounted to 3.17 billion yuan, an increase of 376.7%.
