The Ministry of Commerce stated that China has always opposed any form of unilateral tariff measures, such as reciprocal tariffs and fentanyl tariffs, which not only violate international economic and trade rules but also violate US domestic laws, harm the global economic and trade order, and are not in line with the interests of all parties.

He Yongqian stated that the US tax rebate measures are a beneficial step on the road to correcting mistakes. It should be noted that these tariffs are directly collected by US customs from US importers and ultimately borne by US consumers.
