In January and February, the export of Fujian's "new three types" products exceeded 20 billion yuan, setting a new historical high for the same period

Riding on the global green transformation trend, Fujian's lithium batteries, electric vehicles, and photovoltaic products have set sail and become important engines for foreign trade growth. According to Xiamen Customs statistics, from January to February, Fujian exported a total of 21.36 billion yuan worth of "new three samples" products, a year-on-year increase of 2.1%, accounting for 11.5% of the province's total export value during the same period, and the export scale reached a historical high for the same period.

From the perspective of product types, lithium batteries are the absolute mainstay of Fujian's "new three types" exports. According to statistics, from January to February, Fujian exported lithium batteries worth 19.37 billion yuan, accounting for over 90% of the total export value of the province's "new three sample" products during the same period. During the same period, electric vehicles, mainly electric manned vehicles, became a hot selling category, with exports reaching 1.45 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 85.3%. In addition, photovoltaic products performed well, with exports of 540 million yuan in January and February, a year-on-year increase of 2.7 times.

From the perspective of market distribution, the EU is the main market for the export of Fujian's "new three types" products. Data shows that from January to February, Fujian exported "new three sample" products to the European Union worth 13.05 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 38%, accounting for over 60% of the province's total export value of "new three sample" products during the same period; Among them, Germany is the largest export market, with Fujian exporting 9 billion yuan to it, a year-on-year increase of 12.5%, accounting for 42.1%; Hungary has become a hot selling market, with Fujian exporting 1.3 billion yuan to it, a year-on-year increase of 9.5 times. During the same period, Fujian exported "new three types" products to South Korea worth 830 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 2.8 times, accounting for 3.9%.

From the perspective of enterprise nature, private enterprises are the main force in the export of Fujian's "new three types" products. According to officials from Xiamen Customs, in January and February, private enterprises in Fujian exported "new three sample" products worth 20.18 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 3.3%, accounting for over 90% of the total export value of "new three sample" products in the province during the same period. During the same period, foreign-invested enterprises in Fujian exported 750 million yuan worth of "new three types" products; Fujian state-owned enterprises exported "new three types" products worth 430 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 1.4 times.
