World Steel Association: In February 2026, the crude steel production of 69 countries/regions included in the World Steel Association's statistics was 141.8 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 2.2%.
Top 10 countries in crude steel production: China: 76.09 million tons, -3.6%
India: 13.6 million tons,+7.7%
United States: 6.5 million tons,+5.8%
Japan: 6.4 million tons, unchanged
Russia: 5 million tons (estimated), -10.2%
South Korea: 4.8 million tons,+0.2%
Türkiye: 3 million tons,+3.4%
Germany: 2.8 million tons,+4.8%
Brazil: 2.5 million tons, -5.7%
Iran: 1.7 million tons (estimated), -1.3%
In addition, the global cumulative crude steel production in January and February 2026 was 298.2 million tons, a year-on-year decrease of 1.5%
