Customs helps' Benxi premium products' go global

Recently, 3744 bottles of avocado oil produced by Liaoning Shengmai Industrial Co., Ltd. completed customs clearance in Benxi and departed for Hong Kong. This is the first cross-border e-commerce B2B direct export model to land in Benxi, which means that local foreign trade enterprises have added another "digital channel" to expand their markets.

The B2B direct export model of cross-border e-commerce refers to the trade method in which domestic enterprises directly export goods after reaching transactions with overseas enterprises through cross-border e-commerce platforms. The biggest change compared to the traditional layered distribution model is the reduction of links. Through the full electronic customs declaration process, multiple intermediate transfer links have been eliminated, resulting in a significant improvement in customs clearance efficiency and a reduction in enterprise costs. In addition, relying on the online transaction data of cross-border e-commerce platforms, the declaration of export tax refunds is more convenient, the basis is clearer, and the capital recovery cycle is correspondingly shortened. For small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises, this new path of "going global" has lower barriers to entry and smoother operations.

As soon as the new model was launched, Benxi Customs quickly established a service team, which went deep into key enterprises, interested enterprises, and industrial belt adaptation enterprises multiple times, face-to-face preaching policies, hands-on guidance for declaration, and introduced the entry process and operating standards of mainstream cross-border e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Alibaba International Station to enterprises.

Next, Benxi Customs will promote more "Benxi premium products" to go global through cross-border e-commerce platforms. Local characteristic industries such as biomedicine, modern agriculture and food processing, advanced equipment, furniture and building materials, cultural and creative products, etc. will soon be able to catch up with this "digital express train".
