Recently, Qingdao Jiaodong Airport Customs seized 1000 infringing mobile phone covers in export shipments.

During the inspection of a batch of export parcels declared as "plastic cover plates", customs officers found that the actual goods were various specifications and models of mobile phone cover plates, printed with trademarks such as "Redmi", "POCO", "Xiaomi", "SAMSUNG", etc. The outer packaging was simple and rough, and there was suspicion of infringement. After counting, a total of 1000 pieces were found. After contacting the rights holder, it has been confirmed that the above mobile phone covers are suspected of infringing on the trademark exclusive rights registered by the rights holder with the General Administration of Customs.

According to regulations, the consignee and consignor of import and export goods and their agents shall truthfully declare the relevant intellectual property status of the goods to the customs in accordance with regulations, and submit proof of legal use of the relevant intellectual property rights; If the import and export infringe intellectual property rights, the customs shall confiscate the infringing goods in accordance with the law and impose a fine; Those who commit crimes will be held criminally responsible in accordance with the law.
