On March 22nd, the "KRASZEWSKI" bulk carrier loaded with 46 domestic brand energy storage containers safely departed from Shanghai Nangang Port. This is the first ship of energy storage container cargo export from Shanghai Nangang Port, and also the first time that energy storage containers have been shipped in bulk form at Shanghai Port.
The Krashevsky departs from Shanghai and will sail for 40 days to reach the port of Sagento in Spain. It is reported that the brand owner of this batch of energy storage cabinets has successfully signed a framework agreement for over 1GWh (gigawatt hours) energy storage systems in the European market this year. This export will continue to accelerate the pace of the domestic brand's energy storage cabinets going global.
The Yangshan Special Comprehensive Bonded Zone and Shanghai Nangang Port are adjacent to the port, and the opening of the bulk cargo export channel will greatly enhance the export efficiency of the energy storage container industry, injecting new vitality into the continuation of the "new three types" export trend at Shanghai Port. At present, with the increasing demand for energy storage products overseas, Shanghai Lingang is working hard to build an energy storage industry cluster and continue to promote the high-quality development of the new energy industry. According to Shanghai Customs statistics, in the first two months of this year, Shanghai's lithium battery exports reached 7.57 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 94.9%.
